Data Deletion and Account Closure

1. Disconnect a Facebook or Instagram account

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

1. Sign in and open Sosyal Stüdyo → Hesaplar ve Paket in your management panel.
2. Press Bağlantıyı kes on the account you want removed.

EmporKAI asks Meta to revoke the permission first, then deletes the access token it stored for that account. Your posting history stays, so you can still see what was published and when, but the credential that could publish on your behalf is gone.

You can also do it from Meta's side, without signing in to EmporKAI: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then remove EmporKAI. The access token EmporKAI holds stops working the moment you do.

2. Close your EmporKAI account

1. Open Hesap Ayarları → Hesap in your management panel.
2. Press Hesabımı Sil. We email you a confirmation link.
3. Open that link and confirm. It is valid for 24 hours and can be used once.

Confirming closes the account: you can no longer sign in and your access to the panel ends. It does not, by itself, erase the records your workspace holds. Section 3 is that request, and we state the difference here rather than implying more than happens.

3. Ask for the records to be erased

Email emporkai@emporkai.com from the address on the account and say what you want erased. You do not need an active account to send this, which is the point: someone who has already closed their account, or who never had one, can still ask.

Some records cannot be erased on request. Invoices and accounting entries in particular are kept for as long as Turkish tax and commercial law requires. Where that applies we will tell you which records they are and why, rather than delete something we are obliged to keep or claim we deleted it.

This is also the route for the rights KVKK gives you over your personal data. Our KVKK disclosure names the data controller and lists those rights.
